Following the success of the ENE workshops held in spring 2022, UEL has prepared a similar workshop for businesses in both the South Eastern and Eastern regions. We understand that operating sustainably is desirable for all businesses but can sometimes seem challenging, particularly if you are still getting to grips with understanding what renewable energy and zero carbon are.
This is why we have created a Knowledge Exchange Programme – to provide businesses with the information they need to gain a better understanding of how sustainably their business is currently operating in order to identify areas they can realistically address. We also help you to write realistic and achievable policies so that you and your team can proactively reduce your carbon impact.

The Knowledge Exchange Programme will connect you with other businesses to share best practice and learn alongside other organisations at a similar level. Once you have completed the workshops you will have the opportunity to work with one of our fully-funded experts on a specific area of your business that you would like to address.
The upcoming workshops will take place over 6 days between the 13th and 22nd July 2022. The workshops will include:
Carbon literacy
Monitoring and carbon accounting
Developing an action plan
Objectives and commitment
Promoting change and funding
A one-to-one session with one of our experts

Thanks to our partnership with the South Eastern New Energy and Eastern New Energy projects these workshops are fully funded for eligible businesses. If you are a business, charity or enterprise based in the South East or East of England of England* and are interested in operating your organisation more sustainably, please get in touch with us on sri@uel.ac.uk to find out if you are eligible for a space
